FAQ

Reservations and Rates

Q. Is the building reserved exclusively for me?

A. Yes, you can rent out the entire two-story wooden traditional Japanese house. There are no spaces to share with other guests. It is ideal for stays with family or groups of friends.

Q. What is the capacity and additional charges?

A. We can accommodate up to 9 guests. A flat rate applies for up to 4 guests, and an additional charge of 5,000 yen per person per night applies for 5 or more guests. We cannot accommodate guests exceeding the number of people booked, even if additional charges are paid or extra bedding is not required. For groups of 10 or more, we may be able to arrange for you to stay at our sister facility located about a 3-minute drive away, so please inquire.

Q. Can we stay here with children?

A. Yes, we welcome families. Children aged 1 year and older are counted as one person. Infants will sleep in the same bed as an adult, and we do not provide cribs or baby bedding (the floor is hardwood). As this is a renovated old house, there are steps and steep stairs, so please be careful of your young children's footing. Please note that you must fill out the pre-check-in form for everyone, including infants.

Q. Can I cancel, change the date, or change the number of participants?

A. We will follow the rules and procedures of the booking site you used (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.). Last-minute cancellations may incur a cancellation fee. Please contact us via message first.

Q. What are the payment methods and receipts?

A. For reservations made through our booking website, payment and receipt issuance will generally be handled through that website. Please let us know if you require a receipt. We also accept inquiries regarding corporate use, such as business trips.

Check-in/Check-out

Q. What are the check-in and check-out times?

A. Check-in is from 17:00 to 21:00, and check-out is at 10:00. Since check-in is self-service, please contact us by message in advance if you wish to arrive after 21:00. We recommend checking in as early as possible, as our support desk is closed at night.

Q. Is early check-in and late check-out possible?

A. Early check-in is generally not possible due to cleaning schedules. However, it may be possible depending on the previous day's occupancy and cleaning schedule, so please inquire as early as possible if you wish to check in early. Late check-out may be possible depending on the following day's booking situation. Please contact us via message to discuss.

Q. Is it necessary to check in in advance and fill out the guest register?

A. Yes, it is required. In accordance with relevant laws and regulations, we require you to register the information of all guests (including infants) in advance. Foreign nationals are also requested to register their passport number. Please fill out the form provided by the day before check-in. Room entry information will be provided after pre-check-in is complete.

Q. How do I enter the room?

A. The entrance uses a number key (keypad), so there is no need to exchange physical keys. The access code will be provided after you complete pre-check-in, so please save it by taking a screenshot or similar before coming. We cannot provide you with room entry information until pre-check-in is complete, so please be sure to complete it. If you have any problems, such as being unable to unlock the door, please call the facility contact number provided (we will provide remote support).

Q. Can you hold my luggage before check-in and after check-out?

A. We apologize, but we do not offer luggage storage services at our facility. Please consider using coin lockers at Ishinomaki Station or other facilities.
