Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations & Fees

Q. Is the entire building rented out?

A. Yes, it is a whole-house rental, a renovated traditional house over 60 years old. It is limited to one group per day, and there are no shared spaces with other guests.

Q. What is the maximum occupancy?

A. Up to 6 guests can stay. Additional charges may apply depending on the number of guests, so please check the prices on the reservation website. Standard cleaning fees are included in the accommodation fee. Entry exceeding the number of reserved guests is not permitted. If you are considering using the property with a group exceeding the maximum occupancy, please inquire before making a reservation.

Q. Can I stay with children?

A. Yes, we have many families staying with us. We do not provide bedding specifically for infants (such as baby beds); adults' bedding and towels will be shared. Please note that as it is an old traditional house, there is a step of about 50cm at the entrance and low beams. Please be careful if you are staying with small children.

Q. Can I cancel, change dates, or change the number of guests?

A. This will follow the rules and procedures of the reservation site you used (e.g., Airbnb, Booking.com). Cancellation fees may apply for last-minute cancellations. Please contact us via message first.

Q. What are the payment methods and receipts?

A. For reservations made via a reservation site, payment and receipt issuance will generally be handled on that site. Please let us know if you require a receipt.

Check-in/Check-out

Q. What are the check-in and check-out times?

A. Check-in is from 17:00 to 21:00, and check-out is at 10:00. As it is self-check-in (smart lock), arrivals after 21:00 can also be arranged. If you expect to be late, please inform us of your estimated arrival time via message in advance (as it is a quiet residential area, please enter quietly at night).

Q. Can I check in early?

A. Due to cleaning arrangements, this is generally not possible. It may be possible depending on the previous day's occupancy and cleaning schedule, so please inquire as early as possible if you wish to do so.

Q. Can I check out late?

A. This may be possible depending on the next day's reservation status. Please consult us via message.

Q. Is advance check-in and guest register entry required?

A. Yes, it is required. Based on laws and regulations, all guests, including infants, are required to register their information in advance. Please complete the form provided by the day before check-in.

Q. How do I enter the room?

A. The entrance uses a smart lock (keypad type). The PIN will be provided after all guests have completed advance check-in (please note that it cannot be provided if anyone has not completed it). If you have trouble unlocking the door, please call the facility contact number provided (we will provide remote support).

Q. Can I leave my luggage before check-in or after check-out?

A. As the facility is unstaffed, we generally cannot store luggage. If you have special circumstances, please consult us via message. For questions or problems during your stay, please contact us via message on the reservation site or at the facility contact number provided (we will provide remote support).
