House Rules

Share houses are designed for residents to enjoy a community where they co-create their main living experience with other housemates. Roopt encourages free use of the share house in accordance with the residents' good judgment, but does not permit private use that would be unpleasant for other residents. Residents are expected to act as sensible adults and agree to the following house rules.

■ Regarding Cleaning

In principle, residents are responsible for cleaning and taking out the trash themselves. While the management (Makigumi Inc.) will conduct cleaning irregularly, residents are responsible for maintaining the share house environment in daily life.

Please sort trash into burnable, non-burnable (plastic, metal, glass, etc.), plastic bottles, and cans, and cooperate with trash disposal. However, please follow the local government's rules for sorting.

■ Regarding Common Areas

1. What are Common Areas?

All spaces other than the exclusive private room are considered common areas. Specifically, the entrance, living room, bathroom, toilet, washbasin, and passages such as hallways and stairs are common areas.

In common areas, leaving personal belongings or lending them without permission to relatives, friends, acquaintances, etc. (hereinafter, "third parties") who are not residents is strictly prohibited. When using common areas, please strive to keep them tidy and clean, always considering the comfort of other residents.

《Water Heater》 - During severe cold periods or on particularly cold days (especially when temperatures drop below -4 degrees Celsius), please perform "water drainage" as a measure against water heater freezing. The method for water drainage varies by property, so please refer to the guidance provided at the time of your contract, or contact the management (Makigumi Inc.) if you are unsure how to proceed. - Even if all residents are absent from the share house during severe cold periods, turning off the circuit breaker is prohibited.
