This is a guest room at Roopt Shiogama Kaigandori, converted from the second floor of a retro 4-story building with a distinctive pointed triangular exterior. It's a unique accommodation where you can casually interact with the share house residents on the 3rd and 4th floors. You can experience local life in Shiogama, just a 1-minute walk from the approach to Shiogama Shrine and right next to a shopping street with preserved Meiji-era architecture.
The shared living room on the 2nd floor is an exclusive area for guests. It's a calm space equipped with a counter table and a Japanese-style table. The kitchen has a gas stove, electric kettle, rice cooker, dishes, and cooking utensils, so you can enjoy cooking your own meals.
You may naturally interact with the share house residents on the 3rd and 4th floors. It's a place where you can experience Shiogama life from a local's perspective.
Located a 1-minute walk from Hon-Shiogama Station's "Jinja Sando Exit" and right by the entrance to Shiogama Shrine's approach. Early morning, quiet visits to the shrine are recommended. You can also enjoy the atmosphere of the shopping street with preserved Meiji-era architecture, just a short walk away.
It's a convenient location for sightseeing, with direct access to Sendai City in about 30 minutes on the Senseki Line and Matsushima in about 20 minutes.
The guest room on the 2nd floor is a 6-tatami mat Japanese-style room. It is equipped with a single bed, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a desk, a sofa, and a side table. It is a private space for a maximum of 1 person.
Entry is via a keypad smart lock for self-check-in (the code will be provided via Airbnb message the day before check-in).
