It offers a unique atmosphere where guests can casually interact with the residents of the shared house on the third and fourth floors. Just a 1-minute walk from the approach to Shiogama Shrine and right next to a shopping street with preserved Meiji-era architecture, it's the perfect place to experience local Shiogama life.
The shared living room on the second floor is a guest-only area. It's a tranquil space equipped with a counter table and a Japanese-style table. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, electric kettle, rice cooker, dishes, and cooking utensils, so you can enjoy cooking for yourself.
You might even develop natural interactions with the residents of the shared house on the 3rd and 4th floors. It's a place where you can experience life in Shiogama from a local's perspective.
Located just a 1-minute walk from the "Shrine Approach Exit" of Hon-Shiogama Station, right next to the entrance to the Shiogama Shrine's approach. Early morning visits are recommended for a peaceful experience. You can also easily enjoy the atmosphere of the shopping street, which retains its Meiji-era architecture.
It's a convenient location for sightseeing, with direct train service to Sendai city center in about 30 minutes and Matsushima in about 20 minutes.
The guest room on the second floor is a 6-tatami mat Japanese-style room. It is equipped with a single bed, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a desk, a sofa, and a side table. It is a private space for a maximum of one person.
The entrance features a keypad-style smart lock for self-check-in (you will receive a code via Airbnb message the day before check-in).
