Characteristics unique to old Japanese houses
This property is a nearly 60-year-old traditional Japanese house that had been vacant for 8 years, and was renovated by 150 people through DIY. Please only stay if you can accept the following points.
cold
All rooms have air conditioning, but it can get quite cold, especially in winter. - Please keep the heating on throughout the building (you can leave the living room air conditioner on overnight). - There is a kotatsu and a heater in the living room, and a heater in the kitchen. - If there are no other guests, you are free to move the heaters (please return them to their original positions after use).
insect
Because the old house and backyard are adjacent, insects may appear. Insect repellent is available at the entrance; please feel free to use it.
noise
Because it's an old house along a prefectural road, the windows rattle when cars pass by. The noise is slightly less noticeable in the rooms on the second floor. We try to provide earplugs.
