1. How to enjoy your stay
| Time of Day | How to Enjoy |
|---|---|
| Upon Arrival | If checking in between 14:00 and 14:30, a staff member will provide a facility tour and a walk through the terraced rice fields. Enjoy the scenery and atmosphere of Hayama's satoyama (countryside). We also offer terraced rice field/farm work experiences, and ice cream/wild herb tea workshops. |
| Evening | The terraced rice fields are most beautiful at this time. Prepare to mill the complimentary brown rice and cook it in an earthenware pot, take a bath (you can see the rice fields from the bathroom), and relax. |
| Night | The chorus of creatures echoes through the satoyama night. Please be quiet indoors after 21:00. Feel free to use the books in the library and board games. |
| Morning | The air is clear in the terraced rice fields in the morning. Drink coffee outside or take a walk through the terraced rice fields. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast unique to the satoyama. |
| Before Check-out | Please do a minimal tidying up and check for forgotten items. You can leave the bedding as is. |
