Reservations and Rates
Q. Is the building reserved exclusively for me?
A. Yes, it's a guesthouse where you can rent out the entire house, a traditional Japanese house built about 70 years ago (3 bedrooms, maximum 10 people). The bathroom is also reserved for your exclusive use, so there are no spaces to share with other guests. In addition to family and group trips, it has also been used for training camps, workshops, and film shoots (please consult us depending on the purpose).
Q. What is the capacity and additional charges?
A. We can accommodate up to 10 guests. A flat rate applies for up to 6 guests, and an additional charge of 5,000 yen per person per night applies for 7 or more guests. Please let us know the number of guests at least one week before your stay.
Q. Can I stay with my children? Are there any age restrictions?
A. Yes, you are welcome to bring children. Infants sleeping in the same bed as their parents are not included in the occupancy count and there is no charge for them. We will prepare futons according to the number of children, so please let us know their ages and the number of children when making your reservation. Please note that we do not allow minors to stay alone (they must be accompanied by an adult).
Q. Can I cancel, change the date, or change the number of participants?
A. We will follow the rules and procedures of the booking site (Airbnb, etc.) where you made your reservation. Last-minute cancellations may incur a cancellation fee. Please contact us via message first.
Q. What are the payment methods and receipts?
A. For reservations made through booking websites, payment and receipt issuance will generally be handled through that website. Please let us know if you require a receipt.
Check-in/Check-out
Q. What are the check-in and check-out times?
A. Check-in is from 17:00 to 21:00 (self check-in), and check-out is at 10:00. If you have already checked in in advance, you can enter the building even if you arrive after 21:00. If you anticipate arriving late, please let us know by message.
Q. Is early check-in possible?
A. Due to cleaning schedules, we are generally unable to accommodate this request. However, depending on the previous day's accommodation and cleaning schedule, we may be able to accommodate it, so please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to do so.
Q. Is late check-out possible?
A. Depending on the booking situation for the following day, we may be able to accommodate your request. Please contact us via message to discuss.
Q. Is it necessary to check in in advance and fill out the guest register?
A. Yes, it is required. In accordance with the Private Lodging Business Act, we require you to register the information of all guests, including children, in advance (repeat guests are also required to register each time). Please fill out the form we will send you by the day before check-in. After you have completed the form, we will send you the information necessary for entering the room.
Q. How do I enter the room?
A. Self-check-in is done by unlocking the sliding door at the entrance with a number key (PIN code system). The PIN code will be provided after you have completed pre-check-in and before check-in. As this is an old house, the doors and windows may be a little difficult to open. If you have any trouble opening the door, please contact the facility using the contact information provided.
Q. Can you hold my luggage before or after check-in?
A. Due to cleaning arrangements, we are unable to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out. Please use the coin lockers at Ishinomaki Station or the luggage storage service at the tourist information center in front of the station. If you are traveling by car, you can use the parking space first from 13:00 onwards.
Rooms and facilities
Q. What is the composition of the bedding?
A. We have four single beds and futons available, accommodating up to 10 people (for groups of 5 or more, futons will be provided). As the entire house is rented out, we can discuss room assignments and futon arrangements according to your preferences. The bedrooms are on the second floor, and as it is an old house, the stairs are somewhat steep. It is not barrier-free, so please contact us in advance if you have any concerns about your legs or back.
Q. What amenities are available?
A. We provide towels (one per person), shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, and a hairdryer. Toothbrushes and pajamas are not provided, so please bring your own. For consecutive nights, linen changes are generally not provided during your stay (you can use the washing machine in the building).
Q. Is there a kitchen and washing machine?
A. The kitchen is equipped with an induction cooktop, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, rice cooker, cooking utensils, and a full set of dishes, so you can cook your own meals. Please bring your own seasonings and cooking oil as they are not provided. A washing machine is also available (detergent provided).
Q. Is there Wi-Fi?
A. Yes, we have all the necessary equipment. Connection information will be provided in the room instructions upon check-in.
Access and Parking
Q. How do I get there by public transport or car?

Q. Is there a parking lot?
A. You can use the leftmost parking space of the adjacent deli "SONO". Parking is not possible in front of the building entrance or on the narrow, one-way street. For additional vehicles, please use a nearby coin-operated parking lot. Larger vehicles (minivans, etc.) can also be parked, but please be careful when maneuvering.
Rules during your stay
Q. Is smoking allowed?
A. Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the building. If smoking is detected, a special cleaning fee will be charged.
Q. Can we have a BBQ?
A. Yes, you can enjoy it in the gravel-covered space in front of the veranda (outdoors only; cancelled in case of strong winds). We ask that you be considerate of neighboring shops and the surrounding area regarding smoke and noise, and that you remove everything and completely extinguish any fires by 9:00 PM. We also offer a paid rental of a complete BBQ set including a grill and grill net (4,000 yen; advance reservation required). Please bring your own charcoal, firelighters, food, paper plates, etc.
Q. What precautions should I take regarding how to spend my time at night?
A. As the venue is located in a quiet residential area, please be quiet during the night (approximately 10 PM to 7 AM). We do not allow parties or events, and we do not allow entry exceeding the number of people in your reservation.
Q. Are pets allowed?
A. We are sorry, but we do not allow pets.

Q. Is breakfast available?
A. Breakfast is not provided at the inn, but you may be able to take out food from "Seasonal Delicious Dining SONO," a deli cafe located on the same premises (operating days and menu vary depending on the season). Please inquire for details.
Q. Are there any places to shop or sightsee nearby?
A. There is a supermarket about a 10-minute walk away, and "Ishinomaki Genki Ichiba," which stocks fresh fish and other ingredients, about a 15-minute walk away, making it convenient for grocery shopping. The Ishinomori Manga Museum is about a 20-minute walk away. It is also used as a base for sightseeing on Tashirojima (Cat Island).
