At Makigumi Co., Ltd., he is mainly in charge of receiving consultations and making proposals from owners who are having trouble with vacant houses. Case study of vacant house utilization by Makigumi Co., Ltd.

OGAWA (Guesthouse: Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture)

This guesthouse, which opened in 2020, is a renovated 70-year-old vacant house. Despite its unfavorable location, about a 15-minute walk from Ishinomaki Station and lacking road access, it operated for 180 days in 2022, the maximum number of operating days allowed under the Residential Accommodation Business Act. There is strong demand for renting the entire house, and it is frequently used by families and groups, especially on weekends.

Roopt Okumatsushima (Share house + guesthouse: Higashimatsushima City, Miyagi Prefecture)

This shared house, which opened in 2022 in Higashimatsushima City, Miyagi Prefecture, utilizes one of its rooms as a short-term rental. Due to its proximity to Matsushima, one of Japan's three most scenic spots, it attracts many tourists from overseas.
