Located right in front of Hon-Shiogama Station's ticket gate, this store combines fresh fish and produce sales (Tasei Fish Shop) with an izakaya (Shiogama Sakaba Tasei). tekute is a commercial facility operated by JR East Tohoku General Service Co., Ltd., and was named with the concept of "contributing to town development by connecting the station to the town and collaborating with the community."
The fish lined up at the Hon-Shiogama Station branch are delivered directly by Tasei Fish Shop staff, having been landed early in the morning in Shichigahama. It's great to be able to easily purchase fresh fish right in front of the station.
The fresh fish corner is at the front of the store, followed by delicacies and fruits, and at the very back is the bar (Shiogama Sakaba Tasei). They also handle sashimi, fish, sushi, side dishes, bento boxes, and products landed at Shiogama Port.
The selection of fresh, direct-from-the-farm vegetables is also excellent, with everything harvested within 24 hours, accompanied by handwritten POPs with comments from local farmers.

Nappaya Chain is a 1-minute walk from Hon-Shiogama Station. For train users, it's a shop you'll want to stop by on your way home. You can go there from the share house anytime until closing at 18:30, so you won't have any trouble buying produce. The staff are also very polite, and it's a community-focused greengrocer loved by many people.

A long-established Japanese confectionery shop built in the early Taisho era, reusing materials from a previous building. It is also a nationally designated Registered Tangible Cultural Property.
The famous confection "Shiogama," made by adding sugar and salt to glutinous rice flour and shaping it, is a representative Japanese confectionery of Shiogama City and Miyagi Prefecture. *It is said that in the past, it was called "Moshio-to" (seaweed salt sugar) from "seaweed" from the sea, "salt" from saltwater, and "sugar" from sugar.
Originally an "isoe-donya" (seafood wholesaler) established in the Edo period, when they were forced to withdraw from the fish business due to post-war economic controls, they leveraged their location to operate as a confectionery shop selling tea utensils and Shiogama to visitors to Shiogama Shrine, and have continued to do so to this day.
In addition to Japanese sweets, a wide variety of tea utensils are available in the store. If you love tableware, or even if you're just starting a new life, why not stop by for a souvenir?
This is a mini souvenir shop where local products from Shiogama City and Miyagi Prefecture are gathered. Machi no Eki is a 30-second walk east from the Shrine Sando Exit of Hon-Shiogama Station. You'll find a wide variety of marine processed products such as dried fish and kneaded products, sweets made with seaweed salt, and cotton textile goods and folk crafts. Locals in Shiogama also know it as a casual gathering place. It's the perfect place to buy souvenirs from Shiogama. It might be a good idea to stop by for gifts or souvenirs for outings.
The building with green and flaxen colors as its landmark, located right in front of the Yamaguchi Building where the Roopt share house is. It's a rest area with a chiropractic clinic "greenroom" attached.

The owner, who runs the bookstore with his family, is currently the third generation. The store has been in business for over 80 years since his great-grandfather's time. Reggae music plays softly inside, creating a calm atmosphere.
