[Wednesday, December 14th DIY Event] Let's build a deck on the balcony! Roopt Okumatsushima Renovation Workshop Vol. 1

Let's make Roopt Okumatsushima, a share house in Higashimatsushima City, Miyagi Prefecture, more enjoyable and comfortable! We will be holding a renovation workshop to transform common areas such as the balcony and living room.

The spacious balcony on the second floor of Roopt Okumatsushima is a common space in the share house where you can enjoy fireworks and barbecues with everyone in the summer, and stargazing with a warm cup of coffee in the winter.

In this DIY workshop, we will be making a new bench to be installed on this balcony. This workshop event is open to DIY beginners, as we will be doing everything from cutting wood to assembling it.

Roopt Okumatsushima

Roopt Okumatsushima is a share house and guesthouse located in the Okumatsushima area along the Nobiru coast in Higashimatsushima City, Miyagi Prefecture, with 6 private rooms averaging 12.25 tatami mats and 1 vacation rental room. The share house property, which includes a garage and balcony, boasts a vast area of over 600 square meters. The total floor area is approximately 400 square meters. You can live comfortably in a large detached house.

Notes

Necessary materials and tools will be provided by the instructor and staff.

Please bring work gloves or similar to prevent injuries from wood chips or tools.

The garage is semi-outdoor, and the balcony is outdoor. Please dress warmly.
