We will be holding an event called "Daydreaming in a Share House" on Monday, November 7th.

What is "Daydreaming in a Share House"?... It's a talk event held at 'Roopt,' a share house utilizing a retro property, where the landlord and guests can freely fantasize about fun ways of living, such as "Wouldn't it be great if we could do this?" or "Wouldn't it be nice to have this?" Why not join us in thinking about fun ways of living?

This time's fantasy talk

[Daydreaming in a Share House] Discussing the possibilities of share houses and workation with a workation expert.

"Workation" is a portmanteau of "work" and "vacation," and it's a new way of working that has spread throughout Japan since the COVID-19 pandemic. It's becoming increasingly popular among remote workers, who are staying in their favorite regions while working from home using only a laptop, fostering connections and relationships.

Roopt Okumatsushima, the setting for this imaginative scenario, not only offers shared house accommodations but also actively welcomes group stays and week-long workation stays. Takashi Sumida, the event moderator and a four-year workation veteran, is actually doing a workation at Roopt Okumatsushima from November 1st, so this event will be an opportunity to hear about his experience and impressions!

Furthermore, through a fortunate connection, Nobuaki Koike of Ajilab, a general incorporated association promoting workation in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture, will be joining us as a guest. We hope to have a discussion where we can brainstorm about Roopt Okumatsushima and the possibilities of workation, while also hearing about examples of workation in Hitachinaka.

"It would be great to have a workation plan like this." "I hope that people like this will come because of workation."

We'll be chatting about the daydreams that come to mind when you're in a shared house, with Nobuaki Koike, an expert on workation, joining us for a fun and engaging discussion.
